WARREN – Deputies with the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in Warren recently of a woman who had a felony warrant out for her arrest.
According to Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford, TCSO deputies were patrolling the area on Wednesday, Nov. 6, and stopped at a residence to serve a felony arrest warrant on Celynda Ann Kehtel for a previous arrest in December 2021 where she was charged with felony debit/credit card abuse. The warrant was for a motion to revoke her probation.
Kehtel, 59, was found to be in possession of a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Tyler County Jail where she was charged with the felony MTR warrant as well as felony possession of a controlled substance.
Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace Tina Self set Kehtel’s bonds totalling $30,000. She is still in custody.
