Centerville Junior High teams wrapped up their respective seasons recently. The baseball team ended up 4-9, but ended the season with an extra-innings win over undefeated LaPoyner. Drew Larsen pitched 4 dominant innings, and Daniel Brister had a 2-run RBI hit late in the game to put the Bulldogs ahead. Tanner Kellum pitched in extra innings and held off the LaPoyner hitters.
The softball team went 6-3 on the season, also winning their last game of the season against LaPoyner. Avery Brown struck out 12 batters, while allowing 1 hit and 0 runs. Olivia Teeters, BayLeigh Forrest, Mayce Maxfield and Avery Brown each collected at least one hit.
