Dr. Tom Johnson, president of Lamar State College Orange, provided the program for the March meeting of the Polk County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Johnson was accompanied by Kristin Tow-Walker, executive director of the Texas State University System Polk County Center. They spoke on the wide array of opportunities now available for both career and workforce training in addition to general education.
