APPLE SPRINGS — The Apple Springs Eagles couldn’t find the answer to the running and passing game of Second Baptist University-Model High School, falling 46-36 on Homecoming night.
Still, the offense put up some good stats, with Zeth Dugat leading the charge with 8 carries for 111 yards and 2 TDs. Nate Sanders was 21 of 42 in the air for 230 yards and 3 TDs.
Peyton Williams caught 7 of 14 passes for 88 yards and 2 TDs; Joseph Ocasiones went 5 of 5 for 56 yards and Kayden Roden went 2 of 3 for 27 yards and a TD.
On defense, Bradyn Kaufman had 12 tackles, caused 1 turnover, 1 fumble recovery while scoring 1 TD. Also, Noah Thompson had 17 tackles, Drake Pierce had 15 tackles and Colton Brasuell had 12 tackles.
