Erwin Neil Langley, 55, born on October 21, 1969 in Jasper, TX. Died on December 14, 2024, at home in Livingston, TX. Born to parents, Gardner and Nancy (Celestine) Langley, Jr.

Preceded in death by his Parents, Gardner and Nancy (Celestine) Langley, Jr.; Brother, Carlton Langley; Son, Brad Lewis Williams; Grandparents, Vincent and Margaret (Battise) Celestine, Gardner Langley, Sr. and Mary Robinson Euwing; Uncle, Nelson Celestine; a host of cousins; and his eight-month-old German Shepherd and loyal companion, Socks.

Survived by his loving Wife, Bernitta Langley; sons, Troy Langley and wife Krista, and Laine Langley; Daughters: Tamara Langley, and Taiana Langley, all of the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation. Grandchildren, Samara Sadler, Katahnah Langley, Dayton Poncho, Cole Poncho, Teagan Langley, Katalina Poncho, Maddilynn Poncho, and Trinity Langley. Uncle: Sadler Celestine of Woodville, TX; Aunts, Virginia Benavente of Ft. Worth, TX; Monnie Langley; Mother-in-law, Lenora Williams of the Indian Reservation; Sister, Rosanne Langley; Brothers-in-law, Roby Williams; Harvey Williams and wife Olivia; Sister-in-law, Julie Williams. Host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Erwin worked at the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe in the Maintenance department for 11 years and was employed with the Tribe for 31 years total. He also worked with the A/C Wildland Fire Crew.

He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, cooking and family gatherings. He also loved spending time with his only grandson working outdoors or doing small projects. He was an avid volleyball player with the local rez teams who traveled to tournaments.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with Brother EB Sheffield officiating.  Burial will follow at the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 12 until the time of the service.

Pallbearers will be Manning ‘P’Nut’ Robinson, Connor Williams, Baxter Polite, Randy Robinson, Anthony Celestine, Ross Abbey III, Aaron Begay, Emile Parkinson
