Charlene Jackson Stewart, 84 of Livingston, Texas was born December 2, 1939 in Franklin, Texas and passed away September 25, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Duffy Jackson and Lillian Marie (Woodall) Jackson; husband, Willie Stewart; brother, Jearel Jackson; mother-in-law, Willie Mae Stewart; and brother-in-law, Charles Cole.
Charlene was an accomplished quilter and took great joy in making them for her family. Her other passion was exploring and recording the genealogy of her many family lines. Her love of flowers and nature led her to the Polk County Garden Club where she was a member for many years. Charlene was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Clute, Texas and the Blanchard Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Michael Yarbrough and Karen of Angleton, Texas; son, Scott Stewart and Amy of Springfield, Missouri; daughter, Sherry Reinhardt of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Brianna Centeno and Joe, Holly Maple and Jordan, Tommy Yarbrough and Kara, Nathanael Reinhardt and Lindsey; nine great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Cole of Richardson, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
