A proposed resolution creating a separate fund for donations received for the Livingston Municipal Golf Course improvement projects will be discussed and considered for action during the regular meeting of the Livingston City Council at 5 p.m. Tuesday. In related activity, Council will consider authorization to advertise for request for proposals for the golf course cart path project.
A staff report provided by City Attorney Scott Ferguson on the request for annexation by John Ewald of Ewald Kubota Inc. per the first amended pre-annexation agreement dated May 16, 2025 will be presented and then followed up with a public hearing on the request for annexation of 6.995 acres located on US Hwy. 190 West consisting of two parcels. Following the public hearing, Council will discuss and consider possible action on a proposed ordinance annexing the 6.995 acres.
Council will discuss and consider action on a proposed resolution supporting City of Livingston’s application to the Texas Department of Transportation’s 2025 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Call for Projects.

Council will also consider action on resetting the date of the July 8 regular meeting to July 15.
City Manager Bill S. Wiggins will present his monthly report on projects and events.
An executive session is on the agenda for Council to consult with the city attorney and to deliberate personnel. Any action, however, will be taken upon return to open session.
Other items on the agenda include approval of the minutes of the May 13 meeting and accounts over $2,500.
