The Lady Jacket volleyball team has been preparing for next season by playing summer league games hosted by Central Heights High School. A few Lady Jackets also attended TC Thunder Volleyball camp directed by Luciana Babin at Woodville High School. Camp was three days of competitive drills and skills. On the last day campers split into teams arranged by school. Lady Jackets teamed up with some Corrigan Lady Bulldogs and TC Thunder Coach Emily Mixon to complete the team for the scrimmages. Other teams were made of schools from Woodville, Warren, Diboll and other out of area teams.
Volleyball season will soon be upon us and the work done now will pay off at the beginning of August.
