The fiscal year 2023-2024 annual audit will be presented by a representative of Crowe LLP during the regular meeting of the Onalaska City Council at 5 p.m. Tuesday. Following the presentation, Council will consider approval to accept the audit.
Council will consider action to approve a request from the Kickapoo Forest Civic Association Subdivision Board of Directors to accept Kickapoo Creek formally known as Kickapoo Trail as a city street dedicated for public use.
A resolution designating Mayor James W. Arnett to serve on the Deep East Texas Council of Governments Board of Directors will be considered for approval.
Updated policies and procedures for the police department and an updated personnel policy for the city will be reviewed and considered for approval, with both to be effective July 1.
In personnel matters, Council will review and consider approval of reassigning Officer Britton Shoellhorn to the code enforcement/building permits department.
Reports will be presented on behalf of the police department, fire department, fire marshal/fire inspector, building inspector/code enforcement officer and library.
Other items on the agenda include approval of the minutes, vouchers and financial reports.
