TRINITY — Texas Department of Public Safety troopers are investigating a one-vehicle auto-pedestrian fatality crash on state Highway 19, south of Trinity, that occurred Feb. 25.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 9:20 p.m., a pedestrian was walking in the outside lane and was struck by a 2020 Kia Soul traveling south.
The pedestrian, 23-year-old Timothy Reese of Spring, was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Keith Johnson.
The driver of the Kia, 22-year-old Bobbie Conley of Trinity, and one passenger, 23-year-old Victoria Del Valle of Trinity, were not injured.
This is an ongoing investigation.
