Funeral services for Patricia Ann “Patte” Jones, 74, of Livingston, Texas will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Dr. John Hirling officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born August 19, 1950, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the daughter of David Wendell Beasley and Mary Lee Trammell, and passed away March 25, 2025, in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Patte and Lee were married on July 3, 1969, in Biloxi, Miss. and raised two boys after she graduated from Carol High School in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended college, worked for Ernie McClendon at Polk County Abstract Co. where she excelled at taking care of customers, acquired business sense and experience, then attained her real estate license before transitioning to build the family business (Backyard Oasis) with her husband to the success it is today.
She is survived by her husband, Victor LeRoy “Lee” Jones; brother, David Beasley Jr. of Aztec, New Mexico; son, Aaron (Bonnie) Jones of Houston, Texas; son, Adam Jones of Livingston, Texas; brother-in-law, Bruce Jones of Goliad, Texas; niece, Jana (Patrick) Griffin of Austin, Texas; and nephew, Samuel (Alicia) Beasley of Brattleboro, Vt.; along with many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Polk County SPCA in Patte’s honor.
