Memorial services for Rodney Carlos Smith, 78, of Livingston, Texas were held Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Livingston in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Kevan Wood and Bro. Robert Murphy officiating. Visitation was held Friday, March 7, 2025, from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
Rodney was born February 15, 1947, in Sweetwater, Texas and passed away February 27, 2025, in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delton Carlos Smith and Leonnie Jo (Nichols) Smith; and daughter, Kylie Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith; daughters and sons-in-law, Lauri and James Henagan, Jana and Danny Pruett, Whitney and Kelly Lahr; grandchildren, Stetson Henagan, Lane Lahr, Avery Pruett, Bristal Lahr and Ashlynn Pruett; sister, Ricki Smith Green; nieces and husbands, Kimberly and Terry Truett, and Keri and Brent Keathley; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
