CONROE — The boys and girls golf teams took second at the Region 3 3A district golf tournament on March 31.
The boys carded some of the lowest scores of the season, missing out on the district title by only a few strokes. However, the team qualified for the regional round.
Cameron Tullos finished second with a score of 78 and Cain Daigle finished 5th with a score of 83 individually.
The boys tourney is set for April 16-17 at Brenham Country Club.
For the girls, the team of three freshmen, three sophomores and a junior missed out on first by three strokes but will head to the regional round.
Skylar McCown finished second with a score of 93 and Kylie Beard finished 3rd with a score of 100 individually.
The girls tournament is set for April 14-15 in Brenham.
