Whitney Witt

Whitney Paige Witt, 32, of Warren passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025 with her husband, Trinity, by her side.  She was born on September 25, 1992, in Nacogdoches, Texas. She spent her childhood in Woden, Texas where she graduated high school, May 2011.

A few years after graduating high school, Whitney met the love of her life, Trinity, and they were married on October 11, 2014 and made Warren, Texas their home. Whitney worked for Education First for many years before she took an early retirement to focus on her health.

Whitney was a loving wife, devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to so many. Whitney and Trinity shared their love for country living, animals, and spending time with each other.  It was the simple things in life that created the most memories for them.  Together they established and built Buddy’s Land Services. This was a dream of Trinity’s that Whitney supported and encouraged.  Although there were many challenges throughout their marriage of 10 years, through courage and dedication their love remained strong until the end. It was a love story many would call amazing and could only imagine experiencing.

Whitney loved her family, especially her nieces Brooke and Claire. Since the girls were very little they admired and loved their Aunt Whitney.  She had a way of calming them and leading by example. She embodied a spirit of bravery, tenderness and playfulness that drew them to her.

Not only did Whitney love her family, she had a heart for animals. Whitney’s four-legged companions include Nova, Wilson and Buddy who will miss her terribly. She knew just how to spoil each of them and still managed to have the best-behaved dogs around. Whitney also loved horses from an early age. She had many horses throughout her life.  Her desire to train and ride them was evident when she was with her friends, Katie and Cece.   Although Whitney was small in stature, she had a way of making these horses do just what she wanted.  Whitney also enjoyed learning all about healthy lifestyles, while participating in yoga with her dear friend Leah.

Whitney never turned down a chance to give back.  The answer was always, “Yes, I can help with that.”  Whitney truly had a servant’s heart.  She volunteered every year with the SETX Whiskey Festival and Cure Rare Disease Clay Shoot.  She had a keen eye of organizing and keeping people in line.

Whitney is preceded in death by her father, William Dane Parker of Woden, Texas.

Whitney is survived by her husband, Trinity Jay Witt of Warren, Texas; her mom and stepfather, Jason and Linda Ray of Woden, Texas; her brother Chris Seale and his wife Laura; nieces Brooke and Claire of Houston, Texas; and brother William “Dean” Parker of Woden, Texas.  She is also survived by her father-in-law, Curt Witt of Woodville, Texas, and mother-in-law, Wendi Witt of Lumberton, Texas, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life for Whitney’s family and friends will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.  Visitation with family will be from 2-3 p.m. and memorial service will be held at 3 p.m.
