WOODVILLE – The City of Woodville will accept heavy waste at the City Warehouse located at 200 Wingate Street from Monday, March 3 through Friday, March 14 as part of a citywide cleanup effort. Heavy waste will be accepted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Restricted materials to include oil, tires, paint, batteries, and electronics such as televisions and computers cannot be accepted.
The city will also be sponsoring a “Be Green – Stay Clean” event during this time and is encouraging individuals and organizations to help clean up the city by picking up litter on various streets throughout the city.
The city can assist with garbage bags and vests for volunteers and will pick-up and dispose of all trash that is collected.
