The Lady Eagles took two wins over Centerville last week to advance to 2-0 in district play.

On Friday, the Lady Eagles won 10-5 and kept the lead all game. Smith recorded 3 more hits, while senior Sophie Oldham had 2 hits and 3 RBIs in the matchup. Sophomore Katie Davis recorded 2 hits and 2 RBIs as well. Brilynn Hicks (Junior) and Summer Lamb (Sophomore) each added a hit and 2 RBI as well.
Smith led the team on the mound in both games, recording 16 strikeouts, the 9th one being her 200th career strikeout.
The Lady Tigers split games against Onalaska last week, losing 10-8 on March 24 but winning 8-7 on Friday.
In the March 24 game, Trinity was held to 4 hits total, 2 each provided by Summer Ogden and Chrissie Vaughn, whose two hits happened to be homers, bringing her season total to 12.
