GROVETON — Hard work and dedication paid off over the weekend during the 38th annual Trinity County Fair and Youth Livestock Show.
More than 200 animals and projects were sold at the show, bringing in a total of $424,550 — $383,150 in the market sale and $41,400 for projects.
Fair Board President Doug Page said the 2025 event was a really great show.
“We have a good bunch of folks with the fair association, and it’s been really good so far,” he said.
Page said that the entries may have been more than last year’s, particularly in the area of shop projects; there were 166 animal projects; and plenty of Home Economics projects, such as cakes.
He also said that with the support of the community, the livestock sale would be good, despite a tough economy.
