TRINITY — A home was destroyed after a fire broke out on Wednesday, one that may have been suspicious in nature.
Fire Chief Keith Johnson said that the Trinity Fire Department was called to a structure fire on Carnation Drive in Trinity Cove on Wednesday morning.
When firefighters arrived, they found a double-wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported; Johnson said the home was a total loss.
He also said that there were no utilities running to the home, and it appears the fire may have been set.
The fire still is under investigation.
