TRINITY — The Trinity Volunteer Fire Department was busy on May 19 responding to three calls within 2 hours.
To make the day more difficult, all of these calls were handled in a driving rainstorm.
The first call was a camper on fire in Lake L Acres.
The first unit on scene found a camper fully engulfed in flames; while the fire was quickly extinguished, the camper was a total loss.
As firefighters cleared the scene dispatch sent them to Highway 19 North near Lake Jennifer for a large tree blocking the road.
Then, as firefighters started to cut the tree from the highway another call came in for a tree on the road on FM 3188. Firefighters responded to this location and removed the tree.
