At the Aug. 25 meeting, Groveton City Council members:
appointed Donna Dixon to the council position vacated by Casey Anderson’s resignation.
approved payment of the Inframark bill of $10,327.82.
discussed possible budget amendments to cover unplanned expenditures, such as the $90,000 needed to replace a water pump in March. City Secretary Dorrie Cotton said the council reviewed financials and noted some amendments that will needed to be done before the new budget year.
