GROVETON — The excitement is building as GHS Homecoming 2026 approaches.
The Theme for 2026 Homecoming is ''Vintage Indians.''
Students are busy preparing for a memorable week of school spirit, tradition, and celebration. Young ladies have been selected for the Homecoming Court, and the football and volleyball teams are working hard and giving their all for a successful season.
The Groveton Tribe of Pride is rehearsing and perfecting this year's music and halftime performances, and cheerleaders are creating new cheers and making signs to show their support for our school and athletes.
Classes and school organizations are also hard at work designing and decorating their floats for the Homecoming Parade. Each group is hoping to take home first prize for creativity, decoration, and school spirit.
Homecoming is also a special time for former students, many of whom return to Groveton for ''Big Homecoming.'' It's a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old classmates, reminisce about days gone by, and support the students who are carrying on the traditions of Groveton.
