GROVETON — Ellorah Snowden has officially earned her cosmetology license before even graduating high school.

Ellorah passed her written exam in March and then traveled to Houston on May 14, where she successfully completed her practical examination — officially becoming a licensed cosmetologist.

Ellorah has dedicated more than four years to the Groveton ISD Cosmetology Program and plans to continue her education at Versatile Barber School in Huntsville to pursue her barbering license and become dual-licensed.

Cosmetology sponsor Victoria Robertson said she is beyond proud of all the hard work and dedication Ellorah has shown over the past four years.

“You will be greatly missed, but I am so excited to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish in the future,” she said. “Keep shining. We can’t wait to see where your talent takes you next.”
