Groveton woman looks to start Turning Point chapter

GROVETON — There’s something new and exciting happening for local students in Trinity County, as organizers have launched a local Club America chapter, which is affiliated with Turning Point High School.

Organizers are looking to get county students involved.

Organizer Vikki Kirby said that Club America is a place for students to learn about the values of freedom, limited government, and personal responsibility while developing leadership skills and connecting with others who want to make a difference.  Members take part in discussions, community projects, and events that encourage civic awareness and positive involvement in our community.

Whether you’re passionate about leadership, current events, or simply want to meet other motivated students, Club America is a great place to start.

To learn more or get involved, contact Vikki Kirby at (830) 660-5351 or follow the group on X at clubamerica_tc.  Come see what Club America is all about and help shape the future of Trinity County.

The first meeting will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at First Baptist Church in Groveton.
