TRINITY — Trinity Fire Dept handled a series of fire on the afternoon of April 28.
At approximately 2 p.m. firefighters were dispatched to Trinity Cove for a mobile home fire.
Fire Chief Keith Johnson said firefighters found a single wide mobile home with fire burning under the trailer and the back porch burning into the door.
Firefighters were on scene more than an hour extinguishing the fire, and 356 Fire Department responded for water supply and assisted.
The trailer was a total loss.
Reports indicate a burn pit close to the house was the cause.
As firefighters were picking up hose from this fire, they received a call for a brush fire on Bostick Road in Glendale.
Johnson said Brush 1 responded from Station 1 and 356 Fire Department responded with a brush truck to handle the call; and while en route to station from Trinity Cove units were dispatched to DeerWood Street in White Rock Estates for a possible garage fire.
Firefighters arrived to find a small debris fire behind a garage that was quickly extinguished.
