Hortman files for JP 2

Posted

I would like to take this time to introduce myself to some people that may not know me. My name is Richard “Ricky” Hortman.

My wonderful wife Tricia and I have been married over 20 years and have a son, Cole.

I have a servant’s heart and a great love for Trinity and Trinity County. This is why I am seeking the position of Trinity County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2.

I was born and raised in Trinity. In 1986 I graduated from Trinity High School. I have served the residents of Trinity, Trinity County and the State of Texas in many different capacities: 16 years as the Elected Trinity County Constable of Precinct 2, three years as an Investigator of the Office of the Inspector General for TDCJ, and nine years as an Investigator the 258th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

I have served for 35 years as a member of the Trinity Fire Department. I serve as a Trinity ISD Board Trustee. I am the owner/operator of Hortman Country Store. I believe my past work history, common sense, willingness to serve my community, my honesty and integrity make me an excellent candidate for the office of Trinity County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2.
