In a collaborative effort to enhance emergency preparedness, the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Management Coordinator Richard Steptoe, Tax Assessor Nancy Shanafelt, Allegiance EMS, and the Piney Woods Regional Advisory Council have partnered to equip every government office in Trinity County with a two-person Public Access Bleeding Control Kit. Additionally, every Sheriff’s Office vehicle will now carry a four-person mass casualty bleeding control kit. As part of this initiative, the Sheriff’s Office and local Game Wardens held training for all county employees.  COURTESY PHOTO
