•It is with regret that I must tell you that another Icon of Trinity day on Monday, June 1. Mrs. Ruth Tullos passed away at River Pointe Rehabilitation Health Care Center in Trinity on Monday. She leaves a huge legacy. She and her husband, Sam, operated one of the best funeral homes in Trinity for years and also operated a paint and carpet shop.

I believe at one time they even had an insurance agency. Her children and grandchildren have followed in her footsteps, and they have volunteered for nearly almost every organization in Trinity County. The Tullos family has been a real asset to our community, and we are sorry for their loss. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

See you around town.
