Maureen Andrea MacDonald was born Sept. 12, 1938, in Durham, N.C. She died June 10, 2025, in West Linn, Ore. Maureen and her husband, Carl MacDonald, were long-time residents of Trinity. In 1991, they purchased the Ottmer property off of Sabine Road and FM 356. They were quite the pair and friendships were an essential part of their lives. Carl was a retired truck driver. Maureen had several careers (phone switchboard operator, pay phone coin collector, rural mail carrier). Carl died in 2003. Maureen remained in Trinity until 2013, when she moved to Oregon. Her parents, Maggie and Lester Parker, and younger brother, Roy Parker, are deceased. She is survived by her nephews, Wayne Parker of Keizer, Ore., and Jared Parker of Houston.
Funeral Mass and a rosary will be celebrated Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 401 Prospect Drive, in Trinity.
