TRINITY — One man was arrested after shots were allegedly fired around a county restaurant.

According to reports from the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, just after midnight on Friday, deputies responded to a call of shots fired at the Back Porch Bar & Grill.

The report states that when units arrived, they found a suspect backing his truck up in the parking lot and trying to claim he was the victim. However, multiple patrons quickly told police that the man, identified as Matthew Christopher Untermeyer, 29, actually had the weapon.
