TRINITY — Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers are investigating a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 19, south of Trinity, that occurred Feb. 3.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 3:07 p.m., a 2011 Lincoln Town Car and a 2019 Ford F-550 were traveling north. It is reported that the Ford failed to control its speed and struck the Lincoln in the rear.
The driver of the Lincoln, 44-year-old Dana Sullivan of Huntsville, and one passenger, a 15-year-old minor, were not injured.
The driver of the Ford, 45-year-old Derrick Oliphant of Huntsville, was not injured.
This is an ongoing investigation.
