TRINITY — Board meetings grew short with the end of the school year, but the Trinity ISD Board of Regents approved several items at its June 25 meeting.
Superintendent Dr. John Kaufman said that the trustees discussed board operating procedures and altered an item regarding handing out diplomas at graduation.
He said board members will now be limited to handing out a maximum of three instead of 10, and that the change was made to put focus on the students and enhance the overall process of graduation.
