Head Coach Kevin Parker said he is so proud of these girls and this community.
“We finished the year 21-11 and were one of the final 16 teams left in the whole state,” he said. “Our future is bright, however. We will return 11 of the 12 players off this team next season.”
Parker said senior Laney Peterson is moving on and will be greatly missed as a solid and steady leader.
Still, he praised the girls’ efforts throughout the year.
“They won the district championship in cross country and advanced to the regional meet,” he said. “They started an outlaw volleyball program and improved greatly over the season. They followed that with a very successful basketball season.
“These same girls will now transition to softball and track to finish out the school year,” Parker said. “Being at a very small school, it is fun to see the same girls move from sport to sport and to have success. We are very proud of our Lady Bulldogs.”
