The Tiger Cross Country team had an impressive showing at the recent Chester meet, with athletes dropping seconds and even minutes off their times across the board and bringing home medals in several races.
Leading the way was eighth-grader Ivan Escareno, who claimed second place in the Junior High Boys Division, finishing just strides behind first.
In the JV Girls Division, Isela Ramirez and Emma Sustaita both earned top 10 finishes, placing sixth and seventh.
On the varsity side, freshman Xavier Manzanares earned a medal with a 10th-place finish in the Boys Division, while Jasmine Jordan came up a little short but ran a season-best to finish 12th in the Varsity Girls Division.
