GROVETON — The Groveton High School UIL competitors claimed a fifth-place prize at the Region 3 competition.
Additionally, the results, including those from One Act Play, earned GHS another district championship.
Students who qualified for the state meet include:

- Daxten Parker, 3rd in Headline Writing
- Lauren Gentry, 3rd in Copy Editing
- Lauren Gentry, Mason Mosley, Robbie Robertson, Logan Hart, 1st place Literary Criticism team
