Officials investigate trio of accidents

The Trinity Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 19 South at approximately 6:15 p.m. Friday night. One person was transported by Ventura EMS to Huntsville Hospital with minor injuries. Trinity Police Dept investigated the accident. Trinity County Precinct 3 Constable Mark Jones and DPS troopers assisted at scene.

TRINITY COUNTY — Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated a one-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market Road 356, north of Onalaska, that occurred Wednesday.

The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 5:02 p.m., a 2005 Ford Explorer was traveling north. It is reported that the driver started to experience mechanical issues with her vehicle, lost the front right tire, left the road to the right, and struck a guardrail.

The driver of the Ford, 48-year-old Krisha Blodgett of Trinity, was not injured

This is an ongoing investigation.

On Friday, troopers investigated a one-vehicle crash on state Highway 19, north of Trinity.

The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 2:30 a.m., a 2024 Toyota Corolla was traveling north. It is reported that the driver of the Toyota failed to drive in a single lane, left the roadway to the right, and overturned in the ditch.

The driver of the Toyota, 23-year-old Miguel Saavadera of Crockett, was transported to Huntsville Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
