WOODVILLE – The Tyler County Art League (TCAL) will host a two-day discussion/seminar titled “Art Talk: The Language of Art.” The sessions, which will last one and a half hours each day, will provide an opportunity for attendees to review major artworks and to elaborate on the question “what is art?”.
This discussion is designed for all adults: practicing artists can clarify ideas and concepts that they can use in their work; organizers also wish to encourage non-artists to attend and learn more about art.
This unique opportunity is the second of TCAL 2.0 free discussion sessions for adults. TCAL plans to offer a variety of art related topics, last month Dana Want presented a program on flower arranging.
The Language of Art sessions are scheduled for June 15 from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., with the second session the following day at the same time.
Please contact the gallery at 409-285-1086, if you plan to attend these free sessions.
