COLMESNEIL – The Colmesneil athletics program is welcoming two new faces to its coaching staff, Trey Bullock and Brandon Coker.
Bullock was hired to head up the girls’ volleyball and basketball programs. In addition to coaching the Lady Dogs, he will also be handling Special Education duties in the classroom. Bullock, who has six years of teaching and coaching experience, comes to Colmesneil from Coldspring-Oakhurst, where he was an assistant coach for the Trojans’ football, girls’ basketball and track programs.

Another hire represents a chip off the old block, with Brandon Coker, the son of AD Chad Coker.
Brandon Coker, who has coached at Wortham, under the leadership of his father, who came to Colmesneil from Wortham, also, will serve as an assistant football and baseball coach, and head up the Bulldogs’ basketball program.
He will also teach junior high social studies. Brandon Coker is a third-generation coach, and an alumnus of Tarleton State.
