Mr. Alvin Holley purchased Polk County Publishing Company in 1974 and today, PCPC comprises four county newspapers (both print and digital), a regional website, and three properties.
Mr. Holley cares most about providing a free and independent press, and quality/relevant advertising for the communities we serve. He also cares about you, our readers. And of course, the most valuable resource, the employees who work tirelessly providing these services we believe are vital to growing strong communities. The decision to sell has been a hard one, and getting the right owner/owners is important.
