COLMESNEIL – The All-District picks for the Colmesneil Bulldogs and Lady Dogs football and volleyball teams have been named for this season.
For the District 12-AA All District Football team, several ‘Dogs were honored. They include:
Offense –First Team Running Back- Caden Shepherd, junior; First Team OL - Hogan Ueckert, senior and Second Team OL - Cooper Lewis, freshman.
Defense – Second Team OLB – Zak Mitchell, senior.
Utility Player of the year: Blanton Johnston, senior.
Honorable mentions: Connor Eddins OL, freshman; Colton Wiseman DB, freshman; Dean Yates DB, sophomore; Landen Blake LB, sophomore; Jared Lehman OL, junior and Shane Hand TE, senior.
The Colmesneil Lady Dogs volleyball squad had All-District honors with: Taryn Byrum-First Team and Jocelyn Butler- Second Team.
Honorable mentions went to Ryleigh Park, Madison Primrose and Leann Jalomo.
Academic All District honors went to all of the Lady Dogs named in All District honors, plus Victoria Lewis and Madalyn Johnston.
