COLMESNEIL – The Heavenly Blessings Food Pantry is holding a fundraiser for the coming year. The organization’s mission is one of working together to end hunger in Tyler County.
Heavenly Blessings is a 501c(3) charitable organization that provides food, produce and dairy products to Colmesneil, Doucette, Rockland and Rocky Springs, and has been serving the community since 2019.
Currently Heavenly Blessings serves an average of 200 or more families, and 500 individuals per month. According to the organization’s volunteers, the number of those is need is growing, and many of the people Heavenly Blessings serves are senior citizens on fixed incomes who are facing difficult times in the current economic climate.
