Granville Owen Dennis, Jr, 33, of Woodville passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 in Silsbee.
Visitation was held 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. service time on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Campground Cemetery all in Woodville. Officiating was Brother Marvin Powell. Serving as pallbearers were Marvin Lee, Jr., Solomon Reid, Steph Shumate, and Jessie Oronigo.
Owen was born May 15, 1991 to Granville Owen Sr. and Martha Ann Lee Dennis in Lufkin. He was a lifelong resident of Woodville and longtime painter. Owen loved to laugh and had the biggest smile that would brighten your day. He loved to cook, play games, but most of all he loved being with family. He enjoyed drawing, tattooing and writing.
Preceded in death by his father, Granville Owen Dennis, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Lee and Nyla Dennis; and maternal grandfather, Marvin Lee.
He is survived by his mother, Martha Dennis of Woodville; daughter, Annaliese Rose Mitchell of Call; grandmother, Mary Lee of Lufkin; sisters, Tasha Lee of Huntington, Mary Dennis and Amanda Haughton both of Woodville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville. 198
