WOODVILLE – Plans are underway for the annual “Holiday Tea and Purse Auction” event, hosted by the Tyler County Child Welfare Board to support the Adopt an Angel work.
The fundraiser, which will celebrate its 17th year, will begin at 10 a.m. and last until noon, on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Woodville.
All of the proceeds go toward the Child Welfare Board’s “Adopt an Angel” program to give a good Christmas to Tyler County foster children in need.
New purses filled with goodies will be available for auction, so come and help out a great cause, and get something fashionable and nice.
The deadline for donating purses will be Oct. 31. Tickets are $5 apiece, and for those who donate to the cause, they will receive two tickets. These tickets are available from any member of the Child Welfare Board.
