Lady Jackets, ‘Jackets continue success

Posted

The Lady Jacket volleyball team started district play on a good start with two wins. On Tuesday, Sept. 23 the Lady Jackets defeated Goodrich in three sets, 25-9, 25-15, and 25- 19. Friday, Sept. 26, they handed the same fate to their biggest district opponent, Richards, in three straight sets.

Coach Crystal Muncrief was pleased with how the team handled the week and expects the same success this week with two home district games.

Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 4:30 p.m. the Lady Jackets will face Leggett, and on Friday, Oct. 3, at 4:30 p.m. they play Goodrich for a second time both at JP Johnson Gymnasium. Due to a small district, the Lady Jackets will play each opponent three times.
