Orange-based singer/songwriter Edmon Willette (pictured right) along with Alex Buckner, turned the Pickett House in Woodville into a honky-tonk last Friday evening for the January edition of “Pickin’ at the Pickett House.” Willette, who is building a following with his literate, old-fashioned style of music, sang a variety of cover songs and original tunes, such as “Listening to the Rain,” which will be released as his debut single early this month.
