WOODVILLE – The annual Fly-In and Food Truck Festival, hosted by the Tyler County Chamber of Commerce, has been postponed due to looming weather concerns.

The event, which was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 25, will be moved to a date yet to be announced. According to a representative with the Chamber, a rescheduling is planned for April.

“We know aviation events can be dependent on the weather, and we hope you understand. We’re planning a reschedule for April, so keep an eye out for more details,” a statement from the Chamber read.

The Chamber noted that all of the sponsorships toward the event will go toward the rescheduled event in April.

“We thank everyone and businesses that volunteered to help with this event and look forward to a non-raining event in April,” the statement also read.

The event will be the second iteration of the festival, after a successful first Fly-In in September 2024 at the Tyler County Airport, which drew about 2,000 attendees.
