WARREN – The Ramsey Ranch is hosting its annual gala, now in its second year, on Saturday, Dec. 6, and the public already has the chance to help with the goal of the event.
According to Jenny Ramsey, the co-owner and event coordinator of the venue, nominations are open to the public to nominate a family in Tyler County who could use a helping hand. The proceeds from the gala, which will feature dinner, music, door prizes and an auction, is to raise money to “give an unforgettable Christmas to a Tyler County family who has had some hard luck,” Ramsey said.
“We just want to spread joy and give them something to believe in,” she said. “We want to brighten their world for Christmas.”
Last year’s event was able to benefit a few different families, Ramsey said, including one who lost all of their possessions in a housefire. Businesses and individuals can also make donations toward the cause. The nominations will be received until Oct. 30. Tickets to the event are $85 for individuals, and tables (to seat up to eight attendees) can be reserved for $800. All reservations can be made via Ramsey.
