Rigsby commits to OSU

STILLWATER – Braylon Rigsby, a former Woodville Eagles lineman, commited to play for Oklahoma State University.

According to reports, Rigsby entered the transfer portal to OSU after three years of studying at Texas Tech and playing as part of the Red Raider squad. According to his profile from Texas Tech, Rigsby saw action in all 13 of the Red Raiders’ games last season and got six tackles and two quarterback hits for the season.

He worked his way up through his time at Tech, from appearing in one game as a redshirted freshman in 2023 to being praised for his development throughout the 2024 season, in which he played in 12 of 13 games.

As an Eagle, Rigsby was a two-way starter who helped push the team into the Area round of playoffs during his junior and senior seasons. In high school, he also tallied 61 tackles and was named the District 10-3A Defensive Lineman of the Year, as a junior.
