TYLER COUNTY – On Tuesday, the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office determined that a Town Bluff man, who was last seen on New Year’s Day, and reported as missing, was safe.
According to Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford, 21-year-old Dalton Lee Sahlie made contact with family members through a video call.
“The family believes Dalton is safe and able to make his own decisions. Sahlie is no longer considered a missing person,” Weatherford said.
Previously, over the weekend, TCSO had issued a bulletin asking the public’s help in locating Sahlie, as he had not been seen or heard from since New Year’s Day when he had reportedly gone to meet up with friends but was not heard from or seen by those friends.
“The Tyler County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for all the concerned calls and information in regards to this investigation,” Weatherford said.
