WARREN – For Warren’s standout Lady Warrior Kinley Fife, it was one heck of a senior year, and the accolades just keep coming.
Fife, whose pitching for the Lady Warriors put her among the top strikeout leaders in the nation, was recently named to the Texas High School Softball Association (THSSB) list of Top 10 Strikeout Leaders.
The athletes are classified by conference, with Fife’s 308 strikeouts earning her the fifth place in the 3A classification.
Fife has signed on to continue playing softball with East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, and she will major in Sports Management.
During her senior year, she reached 1,000 career strikeouts with the Lady Warriors, and at bat, she had a .561 batting average with 113 RBI.
Fife was also chosen to participate in the SETCA East vs. West Softball All-Star Game in June, where she represented Warren High School among some of the best softballers in the Southeast Texas region.
