JASPER COUNTY – A Colmesneil man was arrested in Jasper County on a warrant on Monday.
According to Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard, Christopher Alan Cormicle, age 49, of Colmesneil, was arrested on a warrant for Motion to Revoke Community Supervision, stemming from an original charge of a Possession of a Controlled Substance (PG 1 > 4 grams < 200 grams).
The charge Cormicle was on probation from was from 2025 when he was stopped north of Buna and arrested with just under an ounce of methamphetamine.
Havard said that Sgt. Gray with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office was deployed to the Dam B bridge where he arrested Cormicle, who was taken to the Jasper County Jail without incident.
Cormicle remains in custody.
